Why is vinyl DJing important?
Before the digital age, MCs were mixing identical records back and forth to extend track time. Nowadays, the technique of playing analog is still widely appreciated.
If you are an experienced DJ, vinyl mixing will not only enhance your understanding of your own music, but improve your grasp of pitch and make for better digging. This is because vinyl forces you to operate without relying digital screens; inspiring you to get creative.
